Railway arch to be converted into 400 capacity venue

Having hosted a few events for culture vultures in recent years, local promotors Strange Days are making things more permanent.

The newly-named Fairfield Social Club on Temperance Street will host live music, cinema screenings, exhibitions, stand-up comedy and food events.

The venue will launch with two free gigs on 2nd (secret line-up) and 3rd May (Dream Wife, The Ninth Wave and Mealtime).
