Noel Gallagher performs at Heaton Park homecoming show

Noel Gallagher and his High Flying Birds delivered a stellar set to 25,000 ‘mad for it’ Mancunians.

The show was his biggest outdoor set of 2019 and his first at Heaton Park since Oasis’ performed there a decade ago, shortly before the band split.

His set included his new (soon-to-be-hit) single ‘Black Star Dancing’.

He also delighted the rain-drenched crowd with ‘She Taught Me How to Fly’, ‘It’s a Beautiful World’ and classic Oasis hits ‘Wonderwall’, ‘Stop Crying Your Heart Out’ and ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’.
