Ruby Lounge Bows Out

Once upon a time, Ruby Lounge was a jewel in the crown of Manchester gig venues – eschewing the glitzy connotations its name suggested and offering a darkened, down-to-earth vibe that lured the likes of The Courteeners, Two Door Cinema Club and Florence + The Machine through its doors. After forty years of experimenting with different makeup and identities, Ruby Lounge finally closes for good this year – with their Forever Grunge show on the 21st December marking an end of era.
