The Japanese House at O2 Ritz on 18.12.19

Amber Bain is the artist behind English indie-pop act, The Japanese House. Her pseudonym was inspired by a property in Cornwall, previously owned by actress Kate Winslet, with furnishings reminiscent of traditional Japanese tea houses in which Bain and her family stayed during her childhood.

With the help of George Daniel, of The 1975, Bain dropped her debut album ‘Good At Falling’ in March this year.

Not content with one release in 2019, she’s following it up with an extended play ‘Something Has To Change’ and a trio of tour dates to show it off.

Go soak up Bain’s laid-back energy and the nonchalant essence of her stage presence.
